I met Peter Agaba during my M.A. program at Brandeis and learned about his commitment to supporting and uplifting his community in Uganda and beyond. Since then, he and his team have gone on to do inspiring things – from building a library in their home community of Bwoga to expanding the BEL initiative to serve additional cohorts through programs such as the Holiday Reading Program, Scholarship Fund, and more.

To aid in showcasing their existing impact and ongoing ambitions during their annual fundraiser, I flew to Louisville, KY and produced, shot, and edited this piece solo within 36 hours.
